Offlate there have been more queries on personal tutorial for ISO 9001:2000/TQM and OHSAS 18000 for the construction industry.

Since, May - November, 2007, about eight matured students have undergone this personal session programs and all 100% have suceeded in making QMS as part of their construction company culture. All these personal sessions were conducted at various places to the choice of the clients. The charges were based on the variations of requirements.

The students were mostly of high rankings - CEOs, MDs, Managers and Senior Executives. The reasons for personal tutorial are of confidential nature. You will know once you have registered.

The modules utilized in this special personal tutorial are among others :

a) Construction Quality Management System Documentation

fully customized PQP, Method Statements, QA based procedures, QC-based procedures, sample submission, inspection and test plans and construction various trades checklists (C & S, M & E and Oil & Gas) and filing system.

b) Conflicts and Issues Arising and How to Solve Them - mostly contractual and law - including real-live site situations - which were considered as 'homeworks' and I will be assisting them to solve the problem

c) ICT elements - such as inputs on solutions (not software/application but inputs) for intranet, data analysis, decision making process, online applications, content development, intergrated web design - portal, construction ERP etc.

d) Practical - Mock Inspections and Audits to the customers' sites - with full assistance on how and when to apply : "Correction", "Corrective Action" and "Preventive Action" - which many are confused of their application.

e) Measurable and Achievable Policies, Objectives, KPIs etc. - using many types of mechanism accordingly to the scenario handled.

f) Writing a proper construction progress report

g) Registration with Relevant Authorities having interest in Construction.

Six of these participants were being given certificates issued by leading consultants from Malaysia and Singapore that I'm associated with. Alternatively, two participants requested testimonials in-lieu of certificates for career broadening purposes.
